One of the biggest mistakes is assuming that all floors and surfaces can be cleaned in the same way. Marble, stainless steel, wood and stoneware all have different levels of porosity and resistance. Applying the same product to all of them is not only ineffective, but can also cause irreversible damage. For example, using acidic cleaners on marble floors can stain them permanently, while cleaning a kitchen with products that are too mild will not remove built-up grease.
How to do it properly: Before you begin, take a few minutes to identify each surface and classify the different risk areas: bathrooms, kitchens, communal areas and storage rooms. Create a simple reference chart showing which products and tools should be used in each area. A neutral product such as Green Natural is ideal for daily cleaning, while an alkaline cleaner such as Pinox can deal with more stubborn dirt.
